Title Group of Tennessee is proud to introduce Paula B. Howell as our new Communication Director.
As Communication Director, Paula will be in charge of incoming title orders, scheduling closings, coordinating closings, providing customer service, and follow up.
She was born and raised here in East Tennessee. She graduated from Bearden High School and attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Paula ran track for UT and played competitive softball.
She worked in the financial industry as a Financial Advisor for PaineWebber. Paula then went on with her boss to open his own brokerage firm called TrustFirst, where she was the office manager and a financial advisor. She took a break from the stock market and joined the title and escrow business for an attorney for three years before owning her own title company. She left the title business 15 years ago and went into ministry. She went on to work at Two Rivers Church for ten years where she worked in Student ministry. She retired from the church staff at Two Rivers 2 years ago.
Prior to joining Title Group, Paula has been taking care of her Mom, which she moved her here from Panama City, Florida after she was hit by Hurricane Michael and had health issues.
Paula is a single Mom. She has a daughter, Chelsea, and son-in-law, Sam. She is a GiGi to her first and only grandchild, Sylvia. She also has two sons, Corey and Shaquille. Shaquille was adopted 5 years ago from Jamaica and is a senior at Farragut High School.
She Loves: Family (the more the merrier!), dogs, all kinds of music, dancing, and hanging with friends. She is, of course, a Big Orange Fan, especially for men’s basketball. Give her sand, water, blue sky, and warmth at the beach and she’s in her happy place! She loves her Jesus!
Favorite Movies: Bohemian Rhapsody, any dog movie, The Blind Side, The Notebook, Book Club, and the list could go on and on!
Favorite TV Shows: Big Bang Theory, This Is Us, The Good Doctor, New Amsterdam, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Criminal Minds.
Favorite Food: Paula loves to try new things. Steak, salmon, grilled veggies, lobster bisque, and pasta. Her go-to foods are chips and salsa, guac and chips, cheese and crackers, Coke and Cheezits, french onion dip and chips. She loves any desert with caramel on it. She also loves Coke Icee’s or Chai Tea with Cinnamon Dolce.
She loves this industry and was excited to dive back into it. She loves working with people. As people buy and sell their homes, she loves being a small part of their new journey. You will always find her smiling or laughing because she believes it is contagious and so good for the soul.
